A delicious tea was enjoyed by Members after the interesting talk about the charity Oasis.

President’s Letter

Welcome!

We are delighted to report that we have welcomed 45 new members to the Club so far this year…still the largest English-speaking women’s club in Belgium.

This also opens up more opportunities for you to get involved in the Club, as many hands make light work.

Whether you joined us this year or have been with us for many, there are opportunities for you to make new friends, keep your brain busy, and make a difference in the lives of others. Check out the list of open positions here and join the other 80 BWC active volunteers — you may be surprised what you will find!

We also want to send a huge thanks to Claudia Z for her efforts as Marketing Director for the past 12 months, and who decided to step down. In her words: “After taking time for some deep reflection, I considered and balanced my present needs and made the decision to leave the committee.”

And last but not least, Sue M would take the opportunity for a special thanks to the membership as a whole: “Thanks to everyone for the amazing support I received when my dear Ray passed. It was greatly appreciated.”

Enjoy this issue!
