About the Club

If you are looking to meet like-minded women, create meaningful connections and enrich your experience of living in and around Brussels, then you’ve come to the right place!

From the very beginning, our Club has played an important role in providing English-speaking women with a place to meet up, enjoy social activities and get hands-on advice on how to best settle into their new homes in Belgium.

Originally founded in 1963 as the British & Commonwealth Women’s Club of Brussels (BCWCB), the Club initially catered to the needs of trailing spouses with links to Britain and the Commonwealth – either by birth or marriage – especially when Britain joined the European Union in 1973.

Today, the Club boasts a diverse membership of 22 nationalities and from all walks of life – young mothers, trailing spouses, working women and retirees.

Our clubhouse is conveniently located in Woluwe St. Pierre and is open 5 days a week for our classes and activities.  Our Welcome Desk is staffed all weekdays from 10-3.  Members are welcome to stop in anytime for a cup of coffee, to linger and read a book, or to join in one of our scheduled activities.  Please see our Activities calendar to know what is happening in the Clubhouse on any given day, and stop by.
