Welcome all Bridge Players!
In these unusual times, the BWC Bridge Players (beginners and advanced) have been playing online and are finding it enjoyable indeed! The BWC researched various bridge sites and decided on Bridge Base Online (www.bridgebase.com), which is not only easy but you can actually play with your regular partner, instead of playing with robots.
Please join us! There is no fee, we play every week and we have two groups: Monday for serious bridge players and Wednesday for more relaxed social bridge. On Mondays, we play against the same opponents all morning, usually 20 hands. We play in rotation, so we have new opponents every few weeks.
If you are not yet familiar with BBO, all you need to play on BBO with others is to go to the website and choose yourself a pseudo. Monday players, please send your and your partners’ names/emails/psuedos to Kathy Rice at Kathy.rice@belgacom.net and Wednesday players, please email Carole Jenner at carolejenner6@gmail.com.
Once we have your contact details, we will arrange the tables. You will receive an invitation from BBO and all you have to do is accept. Note: if you have agreed to play, just log on and go to the ‘casual’ area and wait for your invitation. We will delegate someone per table to ‘open’ each table. Easy!
