Creative Writing Workshop
Have you ever thought about becoming a writer? Or wondered how it feels to get published? Do you wish you had more time to write? Need a bit more motivation?
If you want to get your stories down on paper… This workshop is for you!
This four-session workshop (Nov 3,10,17 and 24 from 13:00 – 15:00) will give you the tools you need to start your journey toward becoming a writer. You will receive plenty of advice, practical tips, and encouragement from an experienced writing teacher and published author Anne Randerson, Ph.D.
Short writing assignments will be given after each two-hour session. Share your stories with the group or keep them to yourself—whichever you prefer. All ideas are fine: autobiographical stories, crazy expatriate experiences in Belgium, childhood challenges … you name it! Just bring a pen and notebook and any original ideas you may have.
The price includes all 4 sessions; no individual session registration is available.
Here is what some of Anne’s past participants have to say:
“The workshop was not only an opportunity to hone our skills to express ourselves better, but for many people immersed in a completely foreign expat situation, Anne interwove life skills as aids to cope with our completely new lives. As an added bonus, friendships were forged.”
“Anne’s teaching style is engaging and practical; her sessions are entertaining and chock‐full of knowledge.”
“I’m only a few months away from the launch of my first book, and I absolutely would not be at this exciting juncture if not for Anne. Anne provides deep personal and professional insights into the writer’s life. I can’t recommend her highly enough.”
