Charity Walk #8- Huldenburg
Our next charity walk of the year will take place on Saturday, 7 October. Come along and help raise funds for our charities: Mala India and the BWC “Raise the Roof” campaign. If you can’t join the walk , please consider making a donation to support our Charity walkers.
BWC 2023 Charities Initiatives
Start time– 9:45 for 10h.
Meeting point – Gemeenteplein, 3040 Huldenburg
Distance – 8.5 km +/- 2 hours
Other details: Walk will take place rain or shine. Please wear suitable hiking shoes or boots. We will be walking through fields and the paths could be muddy and uneven. No public transprot but plenty of parking behind the Gemeenteplein.

Depart from Huldenberg for a walk that first takes you through vast agricultural areas.
Step past the castle grounds of Huldenberg where there is a bronze memorial plaque at the entrance gate in honor of Felix Sohie, the founder of greenhouse grape cultivation in Hoeilaart. Enjoy beautiful vistas and wooded valley slopes along the way. Enter the Margijsbos where you walk along the Ijse over the steep slopes of the Ijse valley.
