Afternoon Walk in Tervuren Park (free)
ONLY OPEN TO MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS
These walks are on flat terrain, through the Africa Museum Park then on a road with no traffic, around the Tervuren lakes. We walk leisurely in a large or small loop bringing us back to the tram terminus after 1h15-2 hours. If steps are a problem, it is possible to avoid them.
An added bonus is that on Tuesdays, the Africa Museum’s Bistro Tembo is open, providing shelter if necessary, access to toilets, and an opportunity to socialize after walking.
We will depart from and return to the Tervuren Station (the terminus of Tram 44) opposite the Africa Museum, Leuvensesteenweg 13, 3080 Tervuren. Free car parking available.
Tram 44 connects with the metro, busses and trams at Montgomery. The 22-minute tram ride from Montgomery to Tervuren Station is rated to be one of the most beautiful tram rides in the world. Free parking is also available.
This event is free for Club members and their Guests and registration is not required. COVID regulations apply: masks to be worn at the beginning and the end of the walk, groups of threes and fours depart at staggered times, and physical distancing is required.
